Step 22. Business Models in MVS.net - Model 3

Model #3. A reseller with multiple back offices/account managers, unified customer database, multiple customer accounts

This model provides centralized back office and database for distributor with multiple sub databases for resellers/storefronts. This model allows for tariff manipulation all the way downstream the chain.

The domain administrator:

  1. Creates basic rate plans in Tools-> Rate plans
  2. Creates Customer 1, Customer 2, Customer 3 etc in Accounts-> Customers
  3. Assigns the tariffs in Accounts-> Tariffs
  4. Populates the database with terminal IDs of Customer 1, Customer 2, Storefront 1, Reseller 1 in Accounts-> Terminal IDs-> Registration
  5. Creates user accounts for Office 2, Office 3, enables their access to customers and defines their rights in Tools-> User Accounts
  6. Creates user accounts for Customer 1, Customer 2, Reseller 1, Storefront 1 and enables read-only or read/activations access to their data in Tools-> User Accounts
  7. Initiates domain registration for Storefront 1 and Reseller 1
  8. Reseller 1 user account is registered as domain administrator in the RESELLER DOMAIN
  9. Storefront 1 user account is registered as domain administrator in the Storefront 1 domain
