EASY INSTALLATION AND SIMPLE INTERFACE

MVS Fly Carrier provides an advanced and easy-to-use e-mail service which is available in all Ocean Regions, using Inmarsat-B, M, Mini-M, Fleet, GAN and R-BGAN/BGAN terminals. All you need to do is to install the MVS Fly Carrier software on one of the vessel's PCs or on PC to work with R-BGAN/BGAN terminal. Once installed, the MVS Fly Carrier software acts as an intermediate agent (middleware) between the existing standard e-mail program and MVS's MarsatMail server.

MULTI-PURPOSE AND USER-FRIENDLY

MVS Fly Carrier can be used with any customary e-mail program (Outlook, Outlook Express, The Bat, Mozilla Thunderbird and others). It allows the user to create up to 200 individual e-mail accounts, with a password-protected secure inbox. No additional hardware, software, or server operation or maintenance is required. You can use PC with Fly Carrier software installed as local mail server on your LAN.

HIGHLY COST-EFFECTIVE OPTIMIZES COMMUNICATION RESOURCES

MVS Fly Carrier ensures significant savings in time and money due to automatic compression of all incoming and outgoing messages up to 90%, IP protocol optimization and full-duplex operating mode for simultaneous "send and receive".

Test results with R-BGAN data transfer showed the compression rate from 25% (jpeg., pdf., zip files) to 90% (xls.,doc.files) as compared with Outlook Express bytes spent for the same transfer.

Moreover, it has the ability to reestablish transmission from the point of interruption, in case of an unexpected communication failure.

HANDY PERSONAL ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

MVS Fly Carrier provides complete traffic and cost management information. The price of each message sent is displayed and an account history log includes all costs incurred, which makes it easier for the Administrator to budget and control expenditures.
